The unique character of the hotel, with its rustic decor and cozy intimate atmosphere, made my stay special.
Check-in was somewhat confusing, as the front desk was located across the street and had limited hours.

The location was awesome, just a 5-minute walk to the centre, but the room was a bit dirty when we arrived and the service was lacking, eh?

Staff is very helpful and incredibly nice and you can park your car nearby. The hotel is on a particularly good location right by great restaurants as well as Split. The place to order dinner not very far from the property is Konoba Leut.

The staff was helpful plus the location was great. We also went to city centre, located a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel.

The decor had a cozy, rustic vibe, complete with interesting internal wall murals that added character to the space. The waterfall shower feature in the bathroom provided a refreshing experience.
There were some serious check-in complications, with unclear instructions about the key and door location leading to confusion. It took several messages to finally get inside. The issues didn't stop there-some rooms were reported to be rather small, with a lack of attention to cleanliness upon arrival, leaving some guests feeling dissatisfied. Breakfast was another letdown, with coffee that was nothing but powdered Nescafe and a setting that felt overly dark and uninspired. While the idea of a more intimate hotel atmosphere was appealing, it didn't quite measure up to the expectations set by its market position.

Cozy little gem in a great spot
Super comfy bed and that waterfall shower was really something else. We loved being so close to everything, just a stroll to the main area. One little thing, breakfast could've been better. We tried the special diet menus but they weren't quite what we expected.

Loved the blend of old and new, like my eccentric aunt's house! The staff was fab, helping me with all my needs. Also, the buffet breakfast was tasty, fueling me for a day of exploring.
Paying with cash? How quaint!

My recent stay at Historic Plaza Varos was an absolute treat. From the moment we arrived, the staff were very good too make us feel welcome and provide excellent service. They were always willing to assist with our luggage, offer helpful travel advice, and recommend the best local restaurants. Their friendly demeanor and warm smiles made us feel right at home.
Although there were a couple of drawbacks, such as the limited tea selection at breakfast and the lack of soundproofing in the rooms, these minor inconveniences did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

The room was spacious and super comfy, had a nice shower, hairdryer, and plenty of fluffy towels all to myself. And can you believe it was only $52? 🚿
